Communication & Conflict Management Skills for Couples

Do you avoid talking about difficult issues? Do you wish you had better skills for handling conflicts? If you do, then this workshop is for you! Come learn techniques to assist couples in talking about issues that can create discord and push you apart from each other.

Willie and Betsy Gonwa used to refer to themselves as “experts in conflict.” Sixteen years ago, they began a journey of restoring their own marriage which led them to a ministry of helping couples improve their communication skills. They have been presenting workshops which focus on conflict management and building intimacy in marriage since 2005. They are currently Coordinators of Lakeshore Retrouvaille, a ministry that helps troubled marriages. Betsy has a Master’s in Christian Spirituality and is a spiritual director and Willie is a professor at Milwaukee School of Engineering.

This workshop will be held on Saturday, April 29th in Donovan Hall from 6:00-8:30pm. Dinner will be served beginning at 6pm, with the workshop beginning at 6:30pm. There is a space limit, so reserve your spot early!
