St. Monica Parish has committed itself to a program of church financial support called Sacrificial Giving. We have no set minimum contribution or church dues. We use the Biblical concept of tithing - 5% of income for parish support and an additional 5% for other items such as tuition and other charities.
All parish members are asked to fill out and return an Annual Pledge Card. This gives parishioners the opportunity to plan and begin implementation of their financial commitment early in the year, and it assists the parish in its budgeting. Weekly giving envelopes are provided to all registered members. Please use them in order to assist record keeping.
Another option for giving is direct payment in which a set amount is withdrawn from your checking or savings account. As you can imagine, this really facilitates our budget process and hopefully yours as well. If you would like to participate, please fill out this direct payment form and return it, along with a voided check or savings deposit slip, to the parish office.
The Parish Office mails a quarterly statement to all members reflecting their year-to-date contributions.
