Serve Others

**About The Food Pantries

ABOUT ALL SAINTS:
Located near 25th & Capitol, All Saints Catholic Church has approximately 600 families from all over greater Milwaukee. In 2010, our two parishes began meeting to develop a Sister Parish relationship, to forge stronger connections, to support each other’s ministries and to share our faith.

St. Monica High School Christian Formation students prepared food and served at All Saints for the Lenten FILL Project.

Food Pantry:
• Open each Tuesday and Friday from 9:30am-12:00noon.
• Helps to feed an average of 900 people per month. Hunger Task Force projects a 15% increase in 2012.

Meal Program:
• Serves a hot meal each week on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
• Serves about 2000 people per month. Need is expected to grow 10% in 2012, which would mean serving 26,400 meals.
• St. Monica’s team helps with a monthly taco meal on the first Tuesday. Help by providing a portion of the meal (dropped off locally), transporting the food to All Saints, or serve and share the meal from 4:45 to 6:30 pm. All are welcome, including families and teens working on service hours. Contact Julie Duval at 964-4215 or tduval@wi.rr.com. Volunteer: Help with St. Monica’s meal program night. At the food pantry, do intake, unload food, stock shelves, prepare boxes. At the meal program, prepare food, serve, clean up.
