Advocacy

“Christians are supposed not merely to endure change, nor even to profit by it, but to cause it.”
– Harry Emerson Fosdick

Justice for Immigrants:

Are you interested in issues related to immigration, justice and how our Catholic faith calls us to be involved? We are looking for parishioners interested in helping to launch a new immigration education and advocacy program at St. Monica. If you are interested in learning more, please contact Fr. Paul Fliss at 918-1114 or pfliss@st-monica.org. For more information about the USCCB’s Justice for Immigrants Campaign, go to www.justiceforimmigrants.org.

Respect Life

It's not too late to participate in the upcoming 40 Days for Life comapign which will begin on September 28th.  If you are unable to commit to a weekly time slot, consider stopping, at your convenience, to pray with other 40 Days vigilers at Affliiated medical Services at 1428 N. Farwell.  Another way to prayerfully give support is to attend Eucharistic Adoration at the newman Center at UWM which is available Monday-Thursday from 12 noon to 3:30 pm throught the school year.
